Common questions
We accept a range of different payments: bank transfer, direct debit (via GoCardless), and debit or credit card — whichever you find easiest. All of this can be accessed via your account, which you can log into 24/7.
Set up is quick, easy and only needs to be done once. There's no need to worry about transferring payments anymore, as payments are only requested after work has been completed. Payments are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee, and a notification is sent via email to let you know the amount requested and the day it will be debited from your account.

You decide how often you would like us to clean your windows — for homes we offer a regular 4 or 8-weekly service, and for businesses we agree a flexible schedule with you. We'll send you a reminder email or text (whichever you prefer) the weekend before your next clean with a confirmed day we shall be with you. No more wondering when or if your windows will be cleaned!
If you are not happy for any reason, simply give us a call and we'll promptly return to correct or redo them all again — and of course at no extra cost.
Your frames are kept on top of throughout every clean. This is included in the price you are quoted.
Tap water is filtered to meet national quality standards and is safe to drink, but it still contains minerals. When it dries on a surface, those minerals are left behind as spotting and water marks because they're too heavy to evaporate. We remove these minerals first, so the pure (demineralised) water evaporates completely, leaving no marks. Ultra-pure water also readily absorbs the dust and dirt found on glazing. We apply it with a soft brush, rinse again with pure water, and leave the glass to dry naturally to a speck-free finish.
You'll first require your customer number, which can be obtained at the bottom of every email or text we send. Then click ‘Customer Login’ at the top of this page, choose ‘Manage account’ followed by ‘Existing Customer’, enter your customer reference and a password of your choice, and click continue — you will then have access to your account.
Your account is where you can see upcoming cleans, view transaction history, obtain quotes and invoices, make a payment, set up a direct debit and much more. You can even message GJ Window Cleaning directly and view previous conversations. We think window cleaning should be as professional and seamlessly easy to manage as getting a coffee or takeaway.
Everything these days is protected by passwords and at times we may forget one. No need to panic — simply drop us an email with your customer reference and we shall reset it. You'll then need to follow the log in procedure, where you will be prompted to enter a new password.
